too much electricity bill

i am living in a room with my friend in delhi and the problem is our this month bill for electricity is 7000 rs while we lived whole day in library and at night we came to room and use Ac fan etc. last time we used the same amount but the bill was 3500 rs. this time just double. in building every room have seprate meter. i feels like something is fish in meter.what to do in this condition

Please ask the owner to complain to the electrical office. If you are just a mere tenant, they may not take your complaint seriously until a registered customer has reported the irregularity or issue to the power supplying authority.

In case you are sharing the room with your friend as Tenant, you need to bring the irregularities in the consumption of electricity and exorbitant billing to the notice of the land/Building Owner so that the matter may be reported to the Electricity Office from the end of Building Owner. Until and unless a registered consumer reported the irregularities or problem to the Power supplying authority they may not entertain your complaint.
