Datagrid employment services. This company is asking me for money or else they'll send me a legal notice. After which I have to pay 45000/- to the court where they have filed a complaint against me. They made a phone call on 3rd July and offered me Work from home job. Which initially I ignored but after several calls I decided to give it a try (7th July). But after logging in to their given website I found, it had many errors. Due to which I told them that I won't be able to do the job it's showing errors. As per their agreement I will have to pay 3900/- if I leave the job. The agreement which they made was never sent to me. They took my digital signature and ID proof during the time of registration. Now they have sent me the agreement with my photo and signature attached in it. I haven't paid any money till now. And I won't but I'm worried about my ID proof, my bank account number, my photo and signature.
Sir, I just wanted to know, will I face any issues because of the details I have shared?
Scam Alert: The situation you described raises concerns about potential scams. Legitimate employers generally do not ask for money from employees as a condition of employment. Be cautious of any company that demands payment before you start working, especially if they are pressuring you with legal threats.
Protecting Your Personal Information: Since you have shared your digital signature, ID proof, bank account number, photo, and signature, it's crucial to be vigilant about potential identity theft or misuse of your personal details. Monitor your financial accounts closely and consider reaching out to your bank to report the situation and inquire about any additional security measures you can take.
Not Sending Money: It's good that you have not paid any money to the company, as it is not advisable to pay upfront fees for job offers. Refrain from sending any money, and do not feel pressured by legal threats. Legitimate employers will not behave in this manner.
Seek Legal Advice: If you are concerned about potential legal repercussions or the misuse of your personal information, consider seeking legal advice from a qualified attorney. They can guide you on how to protect your rights and what steps you can take to safeguard your personal information.
Report the Company: If you suspect that the company is engaged in fraudulent activities or scamming individuals, report them to the appropriate authorities. This may include filing a complaint with consumer protection agencies or the police.
Cybersecurity Measures: Take measures to enhance your online security. Change passwords for sensitive accounts, enable two-factor authentication where available, and be cautious about sharing personal information online.
