Bad service

My not so well experienced architect gave a floorplan which has trouble with vastu although we paid him and then comes to the design which we didn't like it at all because ita normal and anyone can draw it and he is demanding a huge sum of money for a simple design and threatening us that he would file a case on us and we don't have written contract too.

Dear client,
You can file a complaint against your architect in the consumer disputes redressal forum under section 35 of the consumer protection act for deficiency of service. You can claim compensation from him

Dear Client,
In the absence of a written contract between the parties, the architect cannot even be able to file a suit for specific performance against you before the Civil Court claiming exorbitant charges for his deficient service. Instead, if you paid him the part payment against the assignment either through a digital platform or through an A/c payee cheque, being a consumer you can file a complaint with the proof of payment towards service against the architect-engineer and service provider before the Consumer Court for deficiency in service claiming compensation for harassment and mental agony. On receipt of repeated threats from him, you may serve a legal notice pointing out all the consequences that he may face if he did not refrain from further threats on the subject..
