Abusive In-laws and Unsupportive Husband Abusive In-laws and Unsupportive Husband

I have had a very abusive inlaws where my mom in law and sis in law had started emotional abusement from 2nd month of my marriage whereas my father in law who has a drinking problem and drinks daily evening ssupports them .My husband also stood with his family for the first 2 months and then he stopped it and was acting better with me .But this provoked his mom ,sis and dad and they started indirectly attacking me through him .For almost 6 months i had adjusted with this and one day my mom in law had crossed all the limits and abused me very much in the name of house chores.I am an IT professional full time employed and I was helping her with all the house chores along with my work .But she wanted me full time in kitchen and with my sis in laws support when my husband was not in home both abused me and my sis in law get hold of my phone as well. When my husband came both of them acted like nothing happened but i had enough and my parents got me back to my home. At the same time I got pregnant too and My husband tired forcing me back to his home as his parents wanted me to be at their home during pregnancy and I dint agreed to it .He told they are guilty and I should forgive them and I am not doing it and keepng grudge on them.I was under the consultation of a doctor phsychologist due to past traumatic stress and depression due to the illtreatment and abusement i had faced at my husbands place. My Father had requested my husband to dont stress me I am getting treatment and I am pregnant too.But one way or other My husband forced me to call his mom and dad .By the endo of 5th month of pregnancy I had to go to my husbands location for 3 weeks for my office related things and at that time my husband took me to his home promising my parents and also in front of the doctor whom I am seeing for my depression agreeing he will ensure I am taken care of.He also agreed about all the things his mom did to my parents and to the doctor and told it will not repeat. But within 1 week of reaching there his mom started creating issues one by one indirectly and directly and gave me immense pressure where my husband was mute .I came back home by 7th month and until my delivery was over my husband was ok.Once the baby was born he along with his family had started pressuring me to come back claiming their ownership on the baby.My parents and I had told them clearly that I wont be coming back to that home.If living in seperate home only I will come back.My husband dint agrred to it saying he cant leave his parents and his home.I should gave a chance et.My inlaws came to my home and created a rucus saying the issue was not becos inlwas it was between me and my husband whereas my parents came in between. My husband dint said anything against thins and was mute all the time. Now my mother in law is calling my relatives and saying she dint knew about any issues and she thought the issues are between me and my husband and my parents are not sending me and baby back to her home.My husband is also calling them and supporting his mom .My father in law after drinking alcohol also calling my cousin at night abusing my parents for not sending me back to their home

I really dont know what to do .Can you please guide me if we can take any legal actions or send any legal notice against them.My inlaws are uneducted and coming from a rural background eventhough they stay in a city .They dont have much contact with their own family due to their peculiar character altogether

A.Dear Client,
You can file a case of domestic violence under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act against your husband and in-laws.

Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with husbands' or any husband's relatives' abuse to women, may also be used to support your claim.
