I am from Delhi and and my headquarters posted me here in bangalore after filling post preference, now here the office terminated me from .my services on grounds of non clearance of local language (kannada) exam from any board school within probation period.
Nothing like that was mentioned in CGL notification otherwise I have never opted for this state.
Should I file a writ petition or case in CAT.
Yes, you can petition the Central Administrative Tribunal because you are not required to pass the local language exam unless you choose to do so.

Sir,
In appointment letter it is mentioned that I have to pass local language exam within probation period, but in other states my batchmates are given confirmation by giving in-house local language exam organised by office which I have also cleared.
Also the same language clause is in other officers of my state's office appointment letters also but they are given confirmation.
