My society without any discussion puts signs that pets are not allowed on grass sideways, Is it legal? Can they do that?

A.Dear Sir,
The Society Executive Body members even without any formal resolution doing such unwarranted things. You may approach any Advocate and get issue a legal notice to remove such signboards and allow the pets on grass sideways.

A.Dear client,
Ban on pets is illegal under Section 9(k) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, it is illegal for housing societies to pass pet bye-laws that disallow pets, not even if the majority of residents of the society vote for it.
