My grandfather given his property to my mother as gift deed.Later my mother given the same property to me as gift deed.Now my grandfather wants to cancel the gift deed which he has given to my mother.Is it possible to cancel that because my mother already transferred that property to my name.

A.Dear client,
Once a gift deed is effected, it cannot be cancelled. However, the gift deed can be canceled in case the gift deed has been forged. As per both the Transfer of Property Act, of 1882 and the Indian Contract Act, of 1872, forgery is a valid ground for cancellation of a gift deed.
