Violence by Daughter in law to senior citizen

My parents are senior citizen and getting pension. Initially my brother got married in 2012 and at the mercie of my parents they stayed with them. Then Daughter in law every now and then started fighting and they started making issues at home and they both left the house after 2 years, they even used father's atm and took out cash without their permission many times and and moved to different city , later my bother moved somewhere without telling anyone and till date we don't know where he is and initially his numbers were active and we tried reaching him and he kept saying I will come but he never came back, and daughter in law family forcefully moved her to my parents house and again she is creating issues every now and then and harassing my parents and she and her family side people want share in property. Even she don't have a child and my parents are properly taking care of her. But now they are living in threat and stress because of fights going on in family. What can my parents do in this case to safe them and what are her rights on father in law property.
