What happens if my signature changes over time What happens if my signature changes over time

I have registered my signature with various financial institutions such banks, brokerages etc. However, I have physically signed any documents for over 3 years and I find that my signature has changed - that is I can no longer duplicate the signature on record. How can get the recorded signature changed? All the institutions require me to provide my old signature along with my new on.

A.Dear Client,
Here are the steps you can consider:

Contact the Financial Institutions: Reach out to each financial institution where you have an account or record of your signature. Notify them of the change in your signature and inquire about their specific procedures for updating it.

Request Their Requirements: Ask each institution about the documents and information they require to update your signature. They may request documents such as a new specimen signature, identification, or a formal request letter.

Provide Necessary Documentation: Prepare the required documentation as per each institution's instructions. This may include a new specimen signature that reflects your current signature, proof of identity, and any other documents they request.

Submit the Documents: Follow the submission process outlined by each institution. Some institutions may accept scanned or digital copies of documents, while others may require physical copies. Ensure that you provide all necessary information accurately.

Follow Up: After submitting the required documents, follow up with each institution to confirm that they have received the documentation and are in the process of updating your signature.

Update All Relevant Accounts: Make sure that you update your signature with all relevant accounts and financial institutions, including banks, brokerages, and any other institutions where your signature is on record.

Maintain Consistency: Going forward, maintain consistency in your signature when signing documents to prevent similar issues in the future. Ensure that your signature is easily recognizable and can be reproduced accurately.

It's important to note that the specific requirements and processes for updating signatures can vary between financial institutions. Therefore, it's essential to communicate directly with each institution to understand their procedures and meet their requirements.
Thank you.
