A.Dear Client,
To obtain a Central OBC Certificate through the online method you have to visit the official website of the National Commission for Backward Classes ( www.ncbc.nic.in ) to submit your application for a caste certificate, A box labelled “apply for SC/ST/OBC” is on the webpage. The next step is to fill out the online application for this certificate on this website. All information you provide must be accurate. You should review all the information you entered into the application form before submitting it. An acknowledgment sheet and an application number will be sent to you once you’ve submitted your application. The application form slip may be printed out or saved locally by the applicant. To see where your application stands, you need to use this slip. After verification, the applicant may get his or her OBC NCL certificate digitally.

A.Dear Client,
The process for obtaining an OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer) certificate in India typically involves applying through your state's authorities, even if you want to apply for the central list. While the eligibility criteria for OBC-NCL are defined centrally, the issuance of the certificate is done at the state level.

To apply for an OBC-NCL certificate in Maharashtra and eventually be included in the central list, you should follow these steps:

Gather Required Documents: Make sure you have all the necessary documents, such as your OBC certificate from West Bengal, proof of residence in Maharashtra, identity proof, and other supporting documents.

Visit the Local Tehsildar's Office: You need to visit the Tehsildar's office or the designated authority in your area. They are responsible for issuing OBC-NCL certificates.

Submit an Application: Request an application form for the OBC-NCL certificate. Fill out the form and attach all the required documents as per the instructions provided.

Verification: The authorities will verify your documents and conduct inquiries to determine your eligibility. They will also check your income status to ensure you fall within the non-creamy layer category.

Certificate Issuance: Once your application is approved, you will be issued an OBC-NCL certificate. This certificate will specify that you belong to the Non-Creamy Layer of the OBC category.

Central List Inclusion: After obtaining the OBC-NCL certificate, it is automatically considered valid for central government services and educational institutions. There is no separate application process for inclusion in the central list; it happens automatically.

Please note that the exact process and documentation requirements may vary slightly from one district to another in Maharashtra. It's essential to visit your local Tehsildar's office or check the official website of the Maharashtra government for specific guidelines and to access the application form.
Thank you.
