Ancestoral Agriculture Land

Department has sued Legal Heir in a professional misconduct case which was against its employee (now deceased). LRs have inherited ancestoral agricultural land from the employee. Can Department get this land in case Department wins the case.

A.The department cannot claim the ancestral property.
However they might claim the share of the ancestral property that such person holds.

They can't claim from ancestral property.If property purchased by deceased from money if employment then they can take property.

It can claim the share of the property of the employee due to him/her but not the entire property.
