In a Consumer case from Karnataka I am respondent the case was exparte but lawyer got short date with reversal of exparte. I sent reply and affidavit by courier as I am from a different state. But I have sent affidavit in white paper later I remembered lawyer said affidavit in green paper. Now is affidavit in white legal paper notoried Admissible or not?
A.Dear Sir,
Normally, such papers in white sheets not being accepted by the Consumer Courts. Better ask your advocate to take another adjournment and on that day you can file affidavit on green paper.

A.Dear Client,
It is not mandatory to file a petition before the Consumer Commission either on stamp paper or dummy paper either for the complainant or respondent.. An affidavit is filed in support of a petition which adds to the truth and veracity of the contents of the petition and gives credibility to the cause. So, an affidavit even sworn on plain white paper dully attested by a Notary Public is admissible before the Consumer Court.
