Income Criteria: The income criteria for OBC-NCL status can vary from state to state and may change over time based on government policies. Generally, the "creamy layer" is defined as those OBC candidates whose family income exceeds a certain threshold. In some cases, the income threshold may be set at 8 lakhs per annum, but it can vary.

Other Factors: It's essential to consider other factors as well, such as the nature of the IT professional's employment, the state of residence, and any specific guidelines issued by the government. Some states may have different criteria for OBC-NCL status.

Documentation: To determine the eligibility of the IT professional's daughter for OBC-NCL status, you should refer to the latest guidelines and criteria issued by the relevant authorities in your state or at the national level. Documentation and proof of income may be required to establish eligibility.

Verification: The final determination of OBC-NCL status is typically done by the designated authorities responsible for caste certificate issuance in your state. You may need to apply for a caste certificate and provide all necessary documentation for verification.

A.Dear Client,
Eligibility criteria for obtaining a Non-Creamy Layer certificate include some terms and conditions. An individual's income should be less than 8 lakhs per annum to be eligible for a Non-Creamy Layer certificate. If your annual family (Definition of family, father, mother & minor children below 18 years) income (excluding government salary and agricultural income) is more than Rs. 8 lakhs in all the last three years, you are creamy layer. The basic difference between these categories lies in their income limits. It is held that all OBC creamy layer candidates' family income is above 8 lakhs per annum, and OBC non-creamy layer candidates' family income is below 8 lakhs annually. Hope, the matter stands clarified.
