Sir,can you explain in details what is leave and license agreement?What are it's advantages and disadvantages? Is it a valid agreement in the eyes of law?

A.Dear Client,
A leave and license agreement is an instrument/agreement wherein the licensor allows the licensee to temporarily occupy and use one portion of immovable property for carrying on his business for residential purposes.

The licensor grants the leave and license to the licensee for a minimum period of 11 months and for this, the licensee shall pay to the licensor a fixed amount of license fee/rent money. This agreement has to be mandatorily registered before the sub registrar of assurances at the place of jurisdiction where the property is located.

Better to ask your Advocate and he will do the job for you.

A.Leave and licence agreement is the wherein the licensor allows the licensee to temporarily occupy and use one portion of immovable property for carrying on his business for residential purposes. L and L agreement is the documentary proof for the owner or landlord. L and L agreement is valid in the eyes of law only when it is registered as per the provisions of law..i.e. Before sub registrar

A.Dear Sir,
Even if there is no written agreement the Courts will accept oral tenancy and on the basis of such oral tenancy rights will be accrued in favour of respective parties.
