Magistrate court only attached 28 cents
Hello,
I have been married for 3 years and for last 1 year my husband have left me along with my daughter of 2 years. My life at husband's home was miserable. Now I have filed a DV case. I have tried to attach their land. They have 85 cents of land in 6 survey numbers. I have provided all the survey number in the DV petition. Magistrate court have only attached only one survey number(28 cents) out of 6 survey numbers. May I know the reason?
A.Dear Client,
Without knowing the specific details of your case, it's impossible to say for sure why the court made this decision. The court might have found the evidence provided for the attachment of the other survey numbers to be insufficient. Attachment of property is a serious legal action, and the court may have specific criteria that need to be met before such an order is granted. If certain legal requirements are not fulfilled, the court may limit the attachment accordingly. If your husband has contested the attachment of the property, the court may have considered his arguments before making a decision. We need to review the specific details of your case and provide you with more specific advice.
