Teacher beating and mentally abusing

I'm a degree college student,one of my lecturer in college mentally abuses and beats almost all the students for no reason,he doesn't even give chance to talk, he beats in front of all its so embarrassing even if i complaint to college authorities nobody will take any action about him,what am I supposed to do?
