Investing Officer refusing to add section to FIR
5 months ago
Mine FIR mentioned only 30% of the case section 376(2)(n) and statement under section 164 is also done, spoke to IO also to take additional statement but he refused to take and said now we cannot do anything . What I can do add additional section to FIR and how to request to take statement under section 164 again?
A.Dear Client,
This typically involves submitting a formal application to the police. Section 164 of crpc says recording of confessions and statement you can move under that aswell. In case if the police are not cooperative you can also go under section 200 of crpc for private complaint.
