Obtaining copy of birth certificate Obtaining copy of birth certificate

My husband abused me during pregnancy and asked me to leave his house. I have been staying with my parents since then. My baby was born in April 2023. Only my husband can access her birth certificate as the OTP needed to download the certificate is going to my husband’s phone. He is not sharing the certificate with me. No physical copy of the certificate can be obtained from corporation office. It needs to be downloaded with an OTP. How can I obtain a copy of the certificate?

A.Dear client,
For assistance in retrieving your child's birth certificate, you can initially contact the hospital where your child was born. If the hospital is unable to provide the necessary support, you have the option to lodge a First Information Report (FIR) against your husband at your local police station under Section 498A for mental torture. The police will then attempt to address and resolve the issue regarding the birth certificate.
