Sir/mam I have buyed a property from one person because he was in more debt so the property is legally registered to my mother both father and son has signed on registration documents so now the father has made his daughter to put a case against us which is on father, brother and my mother to claim extra money so how can we defend here

A.Dear Sir,
You have to defend such false case and it seems such case was filed for partition and might be blackmailing you for more amount you may contact experienced civil Advocate and take appropriate effective legal defence.

A.Dear client,

The first step is to find out if the property you bought is a self-acquired property or the ancestral property of the seller, as that will be the deciding factor on whether the daughter can raise a case or not. If the property is ancestral then the daughters and the sons also have the right to the property so the seller and his son can only transfer their share in the property to you and not the complete property.

But if it is a self-acquired property of the son of the seller or the seller then they have the absolute right to sell the property and the daughter of the seller would not have any legal claim on the sold property.
