Neighbour drainage leaking into our sidewalk of the house
4 months ago
Neighbour drainage is leaking into our sidewalk of the house. We apartment people already mentioned this issue to the neighbour but they are not bothering about it. What can i do further.
A.Dear Client,
First, document the problem by taking pictures or videos of the drainage leakage affecting your sidewalk. Next, check with your local municipal authority or city government to see if there are any regulations or bylaws pertaining to drainage and property maintenance. If there are, make note of them. You may then want to send a formal written complaint to your neighbor, outlining the problem, the potential violations, and requesting immediate action. If the issue persists, you could involve a mediator or escalate the matter to your local housing or property authority. In extreme cases, legal action might be necessary, so consulting with a lawyer to explore your options based on local laws is advisable. Always prioritize open communication and collaboration before taking more formal measures, as resolving the issue amicably is often the preferred outcome.
