Movable property (Bank SB amount/FD) Movable property (Bank SB amount/FD)

My father is staying with me in his home with me, i have one married sister, my father expressed interest to give half of the home to me and rest to my sister. Meanwhile i came to know that he have few FD/mutual funds and LIC, he as a first holder and my sister as nominee and in few cases as a joint holder. The bank account is also there as a joint holder with my sister.
Do i have any legal authority to claim half amount of this movable amount as i and my family is looking after him and he is depriving us by giving maximim movable and non movable things to my sister.

A.Dear Client,
Regardless of the class of property both moveable and immovable, if the same is the self-acquired property of your father, he can give away any share of the property to any person, even a stranger or beggar. No one even his own children cannot claim their share in the property as a matter of right.
