Query on father name correction
Hi All,
I'm XYZ (Original name hasn't disclosed) from Bangalore, Karnataka. I had a query on father's name correction in all my education documents.
My father name is "U.ABC" but in my education documents the father name holds as "AB". Example: it should be "V.Aruna" but it holds as "Arun".
Please note that all other documents like Voter ID, Aadhaar and PAN holds the correct father name and FYI that I don't have my birth certificate.
Could you please suggest what is the further steps to be taken on this issue.
Looking forward for the suggestion and steps to be taken.
Thanks in advance.
A.Dear Client,
To address the discrepancy in your education documents regarding your father's name, you can initiate the correction process by following these steps. Firstly, gather copies of your correct documents such as Voter ID, Aadhaar, and PAN, which reflect the accurate father's name ("U.ABC"). Next, reach out to the educational institutions where you obtained your certificates. Submit a formal written request, accompanied by a notarized affidavit affirming the correct father's name. If possible, include any supporting documents like a copy of your correct documents. Since you don't have a birth certificate, consider obtaining one, as it can serve as additional proof. If your educational institution requires more verification, they may guide you on the specific procedures. It's advisable to keep copies of all communications and documents for your records. Be patient, as the correction process might take some time, but persistently following up can help expedite it.
Thankyou

A.Dear sir,
Here in after you may use your father's name as XYZ @ ABC because it is very difficult to change your father's name in the official records.
