Wrong question in Exam
In my Final exam paper, there was a wrong question for which several students sent representation to the exam body. However the exam body did not award any compensatory marks and in the marking scheme they corrected this error by saying it was wronglly typed. However, the error was of such nature which can cause confusion to the students. What remedy could be availed in such case?
A.Dear Client,
When a cause of action adversely affects the common interest of all the Students in the examination, a Public Interest Litigation suit is required to be filed before the High Court for appropriate relief in the matter Reach out to an Advocate for necessary guidance and steps.

A.Dear Client,
In situations where a wrong question in a final exam paper has caused confusion and numerous students have raised representations, it's crucial to seek a fair resolution. Initially, you may consider compiling a collective representation, emphasizing the nature of the error and its potential impact on students' performance. Present clear arguments supporting the need for compensatory marks due to the confusion caused by the wrongly typed question. If the exam body continues to disregard the issue, you might explore escalating the matter to higher authorities within the educational institution, such as academic supervisors or department heads. Additionally, consulting with student representatives or seeking guidance from ombudsman services within the institution could provide further support. Remember to maintain a professional and respectful tone throughout the process to enhance the effectiveness of your request.
Thankyou
