Hospitalization treatment bills

I want a copies of my hospitality treatment bills from hospital as I want a clearity that how much money spend by my family and where. But hospital staff deny to give me the copies I said provide me in digital form as every hospital keep the records in desktops
A.Dear Client,
In the case when the patient is covered under health insurance, the treating hospital sends all the medical treatment papers to the Insurance Company for reimbursement of medical expenses incurred for the treatment of the patient along with the discharge certificate. A copy of the Discharge Certificate is given to the patient on discharge from the hospital showing the treatment given and the advice to be followed on discharge by the patient. But on demand from the patient or his/her relatives, the hospital is dutybound to provide a copy of medical bills. On denial by the Hospital, you may file a complaint against the hospital to the District Chief Medical Officer of Health(CMOH) who is the licensing authority under the state-specific Clinical Establishment Act for redressal of your grievance.
