Recently I visited passport office in Himachal Pradesh and four that there is a issue with my name and my father too. So now I want to change my and my father's name in all my documents, how to start and what is the process for changing name without using urf , aka or alise.
A.It must be completed officially by drafting an affidavit, putting an advertisement in the newspaper, and through a notification in the Indian Gazette about the change. After publication of the name change in the Gazette, the individual may begin using the new name and request that it be used on all identification documents.
