Data entry scam

I have joined a data entry company tomorrow named uniworkspace corporate from gujurat.They had asked me For my id proof,my photo and digital sign.acually they provided a website of there company and customer care mail.after going through the website I didn't get genuineness of the company.. cz there was no sign in or log in page ,no dashboard,no payment proof and nothing..... They sent me another link to do every thing which was other than this website..after not getting any genuineness I thought it was a fraud..so on same day after signed that legal document ,after 2hr I told them to quit this job..but they threatening me to take legal action.... What would I do?

This kind of online data entry/part-time jobs is being offered and operated by Fraudster companies/entities to extort money from unemployed youths. So, on receipt of such an unethical and arbitrary threat or demand from such type of Company, just ignore it because the nature of the threats itself proves their ulterior motives behind the offer. However, on receipt of repeated calls or messages/emails demanding money for different purposes or threatening legal action, then make a complaint(GD) against the said Company at the local police station with whatever papers/documents or digital evidence you have and serve a legal notice enclosing a copy of the police complaint(GD) informing them that you are contemplating filing a criminal suit against the Company for cheating and criminal intimidation u/s.415 and 503 of IPC. Hopefully, the matter may stand resolved thereafter. In case the matter is not resolved then consult with an Advocate for guidance and steps.
