Dear Client,
As per the notification dated 21/05/2021 issued by the JK Staff Selection Board, the process of document verification of selected candidates for a government job is clarified. As per the said notification, the document verification carried on by the Board is limited to the extent of physical possession of category and degree certificate in reference to advertised notification and establishing the genuineness/validity or otherwise the same shall be the responsibility of the appointing authority. In case any certificate/document, during the course of verification, turns out to be fake/fictitious, the board may kindly be kept posted and appropriate criminal proceedings against such candidates may please be intimated to the Board. In another notification of J & K SSB issued on 22/06/2018, it is stated that the provisionally selected candidates are required to appear before the Counselling Cum Document Verification Committee with the following documents; Copy of Online Application form. D.O.B Certificate. Reservation category certificate, if applicable. Permanent Resident certificate. Discharge certificate in case of Ex-serviceman category. Other documents as per the advertisement. The candidates are required to produce an Online Application Form as well as original documents together with a self-attested photocopy of each document certificate/bonafide on the day of counseling and document verification. The final selection list shall be issued only out of the shortlisted candidates on the basis of merit, relevance and genuineness of the prescribed qualifications and other relevant documents, after the documents verification. Therefore, in view of the aforesaid proposition of service rules of the Government of J & K., when you were recruited after verification of your all documents including the central OBC certificate, you would neither be liable for dishonesty nor face any punitive action..
