Wish to leave PG Wish to leave PG

I have joined this PG in Sep. Month and submitted my completed rent with security. and later I found out that their washroom is very small even you can't shit on cupboard comfortably. also they don't maintain the hygiene in kitchen and use very poor quality oil for cooking. and they serve half cooked chapati to eat. I always pay them before the payment date and now I decided to leave this PG and send them notice then they replied I have to complete the 1 month notice to take back my security. Now they ask me to more money to extend my payment date to 1 of month because my rent payment date lie middle of the month. And I paid them and ask him to consider my notice for 1 month as I paid them Half and 1 month payment in advance and I sent my notice on 28 Feb. So my 1 month notice period will be covered if look as I paid them till 1 April 2024. But they replied they are running business that notice willn not be consider and I have to pay in next month and send new notice for get back my seurity.

A.Dear Client,
From the contents of the query, it appears that the Landowner has adopted an unfair trade practice to harass the tenant on either pretext. A dispute between a tenant and landlord is resolved under the state-specific Rent Control Act under which a Rent Controller or Addl Rent Controller is appointed to deal with the dispute arising out of a rent agreement or for other reasons between the parties. You can file an application explaining your grievance before the concerned Rent Controller to resolve the issue amicably. Reach out to an Advocate handling the cases before the Rent Controller for guidance and steps.

A.Dear Client,

In this situation, as it appears to be a relatively minor matter, attempting an amicable resolution with your employer or the relevant authorities involved could be a practical approach. If the issue is related to your accommodation and your stay duration, consider discussing your concerns with your employer or the appropriate personnel. Clarify your position and express any difficulties you may have in relocating during the notice period.

If an amicable resolution is not feasible, you may want to review the terms of your employment contract, company policies, and local labor laws to understand your rights and obligations. Consulting with an employment lawyer or seeking advice from a relevant labor authority could provide further guidance tailored to your specific situation.

Remember, maintaining open communication and attempting to resolve the matter diplomatically is often beneficial in employment-related disputes.
