I have searched for online escort service. In return I got response from a agency. They have asked me money in different stages. And the moment I realised I have been scammed it was already late. Now they are asking me to pay amount to cancel my request. They are blackmailing me also. What to do now. Whether I'll be punished for this offence

A.Dear client, You have to file a cyber crime complaint on that online escort service. And also file a case of criminal intimidation for blackmailing you under sec 509 of IPC.

A.Dear Sir,
It is best to surrender before the Police and get help from the Police and thus you may not be punished and charge sheet may not be filed against you.

A.Dear Client,
It appears that you become the victim of a cyber scam by a fraud company. The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal(NCCRP) is an initiative of the Government of India to facilitate victims/complainants to report cybercrime scams or complaints online. On the instruction of the Cyber Crime Cell, the investigating team starts the routine process of investigation immediately and you have to wait for the completion of the investigation of the scam by the investigating agency. The length of time it takes to investigate a cybercrime can vary greatly depending on the complexity of the case, the resources available to the investigators, and the cooperation of the victim. You may consult with a cyber crime expert or an Advocate handling cyber laws for further guidance and suitable steps.
