borrowed money not returned

I lent a friend a few thousand(60/70k) a 2 years ago. Initially, he agreed to pay me back in a few months, but it never happened. The only evidence that I have is my bank statement and also a text message logs in which he agrees to pay me back but it never happened

A.Send this friend a legal notice giving him a stipulated time period to return the money.
If he fails to comply with the same you can go ahead and file a suit for recovery of money based on the proofs that you have.

A.First send the demand notice through lawyer. If not paid then send legal notice through lawyer

A.send him a legal notice through a lawyer and if payment not made within stipulated time file a case for recovery of money against him/her. the bank statement is able to prove that you had lent the money.
