Residents harrasing association members Residents harrasing association members

Hi, I am from an association which we took over from previous team just 3 months back and we are working towards the betterment of the society. However we have couple of ex association members who were in team 2 years back. Couple of them very badly wanted to get back into association but unfortunately not elected. However now these bunch of people are harrasing our team by disapproving everything we decide to work upon and also threatening us that our team will stand nullified if we don't act according to their will like they choose a day for meeting n we should abide by failing which they will further form a new team. They have also formed a social group saying that is owners group where none of the association members are part of it and puts false allegations on the association team. They even go door to door n take signature from people to disapprove our decisions. Looks like they are doing this only to get in as association members and rule according to them.
We wanted to know if we can take any serious legal action against these people and how can we go about it. Kindly suggest ASAP
