Adultery : File criminal complaint as cause of action is before September 2018 Adultery : File criminal complaint as cause of action is before September 2018

Honorable Supreme Court decriminalized adultery in September 2018.

However my wife was involved in adulterous relations predating this judgement. I obtained relevant evidences to make a case and complaint now.

Since cause of action predates the judgement, can I at least file criminal complaints against the concerned male involved to build up the pressure.

Hi,
I have filed a divorce petition, but as expected my wife is threating with criminal complaints of 498A, DV, IT act etc.
To build pressure of criminal complaints against her (as the men involved are her family relatives) I wish to file a complaint.
Can the complaint be filed based on cause of action, whether it stands in court or not is a separate matter.
