Non Disclosure Agreement Non Disclosure Agreement

One of my friend is facing threat from past employer via legal notice. He does not remember but might have signed a Non Disclosure agreement at the time of him joining company X. His role got changed after few years. He left the company as some pending due were not paid with a release letter. Now, after around 2 years, he is facing legal threats from past employer stating he breached the agreement and he is not supposed to work with any party or company who my friend might have met during his employment. Are this kind of things valid? Past employer is claiming my friend also leaked some information which is baseless and without any proof. How to safeguard from these false claims in legal notices?

A.dear client in your matter i agreed on advice that You got to be very cautious when you receive legal notices on these matters.
First of all you must respond to legal notices rejecting all claims lest it will be construed that you have accepted all allegations.
