Can a lawyer call the boy's family for mutual compromise or should i complain to police directly

I was promised marriage the person got physical with me on that basis,rings were exchanged too suddenly he says he doesnt want to marry he did abuse me has been violent with me and exploited me he even molested me when i went to meet him he has just used me physically with no intent of marriage

dear client in your matter If you are not intending to marry him and compromise financially then go for compromise. Or go for police complaint if you don't want to.

That act of the boy amounts to rape it is an offence of rape on the promise of marriage. Iodge an FIR immediately. If u let him off by taking money, tomorrow he will do the same with other girls.your name and identity will noyt be disclosed
