Show cause notice

I have got show cause from customs, but reason was not mentioned in the notice, only personal hearing was mentioned. What tht means?, i have ordered sex toy in AliExpress but i gave my office address. Can i ignore the show cause notice or shall i say that i didnt order the item. Will check my order history or credit card history through AliExpress

It s not a very good idea to not attend the showcause by the customs. By replying and acting accordingly to a showcause notice may result in a chance to avoid termination, expulsion or even criminal charges. The show cause notice must be replied with explanation as soon as possible. Keep it brief and attend the same. There is every chance of your order verification , so do not lie.
