Just keep silent for 12 years or so that you can put up adverse title over it, it is ancillary land as such you are the owner. Boundaries will prevail. So get a dummy suit filed and get declaration decree in your favor.

RTC is related to the agriculture land it reflects the number of the land, extent of land, owner of the land, and person who is possession of the land, any charges made in the land etc.., it a collateral document to title, any transfer of ownership of agricultural land only can effected in RTC not revenue site, it is different from katha issued to the municipality or Village panchayath better apply for katha with your revenue jurisdiction authority such as muncipality, Town panchayath etc.
