A. You need to file an appeal application for reducing the amount of alimony ordered by the learned judge of the family court according to your eligibility. If the high court gets satisfied then you may not need to pay the amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- so must wait for the final judgement of the High Court. For the time being in force, you must pray for an order of stay against the impugned order of the learned judge of family court before the Hon'ble High Court while your appeal is pending.
