Regarding one time alimony settlement Regarding one time alimony settlement

I filed 12 1c petition against my wife for concealing past affair and continuing even after marriage.Last week mediation happened and it failed. Now it is time for my wife to file counter. My wifes advocate called my advocate asking for mutual settlement of 7lakhs.But we told that we will not give more than 2lakhs and if they want they can file counter. My salary is 60k 34years and my wife 24yeras salary is 5000.Actually they married me only for money as im disabled they played conspiracy.I have whatsapp chats where my wife told love you to him. Also my wife used to meet him personally and her mother also used to encourage it.Now my wife advocate is telling that my wife lover has married another girl. Actually they have not given any dowry and I only taken loan and beared all expenses.I would like to know whether if I go to judge and plead can she settle alimony to 2lakhs or she will ask me more to give her?

A.Dear Client
You may proceed to the court for mutual divorce, and the alimony depends upon the facts and arguments of the case. You may show all the proofs which might help you in your defense.
You must consult a lawyer for better help.

A.Dear Client
Alimony not something that she can demand when the case for nullity of marriage is filed. If they ask for it the judge will have think about before passing any order and in my opinion when you have filed an application for decree of nullity then you need no compromise here.

Also I would suggest that you should consult a lawyer with all your queries.

A.If you have enough evidence against your wife proving adultery then kindly file a suit for divorce immediately. You can settle the alimony part outside the court only with your wife according to your ability but no judge will participate in making decision for settling the alimony to an amount which you want to pay. If you can prove the allegations against your wife, then you may not be needed to pay any alimony to your wife.
