my wife wants divorce from me because she is telling that we have cheated her by not informing her that i got polio. But in prewedding and wedding photos i wore calipers in two legs. she saw me the way i walk.Her parents also did kanyadan. My marraige is witnessed by 400 people. After marriage she stayed with me for 1.5 months and she attended many functions. she was happy and also she danced in one of my relatives functions.i filed divorce case last year april .Now she is demanding 8lakhs through her advocate.I dont want to give more than 2lakhs as We have not taken any dowry and beared all expenditures.Is it possible to settle with 2lakhs by showing marriage photos?

A.Dear Client

As per the facts which have been provided, you can show the wedding photos as a proof in court to show that your wife knew that you had polio and you can also ask the witnesses to give statement in court regarding this. In case, if your wife earns you can show that as well in court. These things if proved can reduce the alimony.
