The Trial Court has held that once a Decree is made in terms of a compromise, it cannot be challenged except on the ground of fraud and coercion.

Any legal heir can challenge the deed, but their claim is unlikely to succeed unless they can prove that there was misrepresentation or fraud with respect to the original partition deed.
