Hi, according to the hindu succession act, the property belonging to your grandfather will get divided into 6 parts. Their children can further claim their equal shares from their parent.

If there is no heir are left in both of this two deceased person you are eligible to keep whole property. I don't know where are you living, if you are paying land tax before concerned authority with succession certificate if any or other documents which are demanding that authority in your name is sufficient to establish ownership. No need of registration.
