It is not mandatory for the lawyer to sign the document. Such document may be drafted by either lawyer or any other person knowing the drafting or it may be self drafted by the purchaser.

Court can not deny to returning your original documents. For getting your documents back apply for certified copy and after obtaining certified copy file required application in court to take up on record the certified copies of documents and to release the origional documents lying on court record.

You may approach the concerned RTO and tell the same or lodge a complaint with them. You should have rounded off the registered number with the RTO before that vehicle to be treated as scraped one.

You can apply for the death certificate at the local municipal department where you previously obtained the death certificate. They will issue you another death certificate by taking certain prescribed fees.

If you do not have any of the valid proof of address then the authorities would ask you to produce an Address proof Affidavit. The document has to be drafted on a stamp paper of minimum value and notarised.
