A.1) Yes, BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is a Doctors Degree approved by (DCI)- Dental Council of India (BUT ONLY FOR THE TOOTH & JAW) This Doctors Degree NOT valid for providing – medicines for ANY other body related disorders/ Diseases, You also cannot issue Birth/ Death Certificate
It is an undergraduate degree of 5 years which trains students to enter the noble profession of dental science and surgery. The minimum percentage required is 50% in Class XII with NEET qualification is necessary for BDS admission. Currently, there are more than 300 dental colleges in India with around 26,000 seats, in both government and private universities. The average annual fees to pursue BDS is around upto Rs. 8 Lakhs Per Year.

2) MBBS – Is Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery is a Doctors Degree approved by (MCI)- Medical Council of India. This Doctors Degree valid for providing – medicines for ANY body related disorders/ Diseases, And ALSO can issue Birth/ Death Certificate .
(Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) course is 5.5 years undergraduate degree with 4.5 years of course study and 1 year of mandatory internship in various fields of medicine. The course is divided into 9 semesters in which one will gain an overview of various MBBS subjects like anatomy, pediatrics, biochemistry, and many other subjects during the whole course.
To secure admission in this course, one must possess a minimum score of 50% or above in 10+2 in science subjects with English as a mandatory subject.
The average annual fees to pursue MBBS is around upto Rs. 20 Lakhs Per Year if you are student with 95% marks OR the fees including donations varies upto Rs.1.50 Cr for percentage 75% & above

A substitute for MBBS is BAMS & MHMS with almost like similar features. Do let us know what all would you like to do in the educational field, also do take inconsideration of the financial aspects of the studies. Apart from the fees there are overhead expenses such as Books, Classes, etc.
