I am a Karnataka state Govt Group B gazetted officer. However my parents are group C retired state govt employees. Whether am I eligible to claim OBC non creamy layer central certificate for UPSC appointments.

A.If your entire family income exceeds Rs.8 lakhs per annum then you are NOT eligible to claim OBC non creamy layer central certificate

A.Yes you can claim OBC non creamy layer. Always parents income will be considered irrespective of your status and income.
