Death Insurance claim of retired person

i had lost my farther in a road accident , we had lodged Motor vehicle insurance claim in kolkata. he was an pensioner age about 62 years. can you please advise what will calculation for claim.
A.It all depends upon life expectancy of the diseased and his pension income and other income .you may get not place than rupees five lakhs
