I have sold a property & I have no dues of maintenance but society is not giving Noc because I have not paid proposed repairing charges it was discussed in meeting but not prepared a bill

A.Dear Client, Consult a property lawyer. Give a legal notice regarding this. If you have no dues then it is nil. But when you are given statement or writing message that I will pay dues then you have to pay for it well. Else give a legal notice. Consult a property lawyer near you.

A.It is the duty of the society to give the NOC on its letterhead to a registered member of the society in the event of sale or transfer of property. Any charges due from such member can be recovered by the society by preparing a bill for the same. In case a bill has not been raised, then the member is not liable to pay.
You can request the Secretary to issue the bill to you as soon as possible and request for NOC issuance soon thereafter.
Hope this helps.
