Being asked money for denying personal thing. Being asked money for denying personal thing.

Hi,

I am a student from Bangalore and due to lockdown, I am at home in Bhopal. Back in Bangalore, I gave my belongings to my ex PG mates(an auntie and her daughter) who voluntarily told me that they will take care of my belongings despite me being saying that another PG mate will take those with her.
But a few days back I told her politely that I would need my utensils and pressure cooker for the future when I will be going for studies and today her daughter told me that you have hurt my mom by denying pressure cooker and you have to pay us 12,000 bucks as we looked after your belongings.
There is a lot more to this.

Kindly help me what can I do?
Hope to get assistance asap.

Thank you.

A.Hello.
You have absolute right over your belongings in this situation. The PG mates have no rights over whats yours. Try to resolve this issue amicably. If possible, try to meet them personally and ask for your belongings. If they do not pay heed, you can file police complaint and seek help of local police.
Hope this helps.
