I am a monthly tenant of a shop room.My shop room got damage and need immediate repairing ,what is my duty as a tenant?

A.Hi.
Firstly check on to the agreement whether it has any specific clause regarding the duty of a tenant. If doesn't have, discuss the same with the owner and mutually decide. However, if you are repairing any damage let the owner know about it and ask him to deduct the amount from the rent, or, as it may deem fit for both of you, do it mutually.

If there is a specific clause in the agreement regarding the duties of the tenant you may do the needful. Similarly, if any confusion arises regarding the duty of the tenant, kindly discuss the same with the owner and mutually draw a conclusion for the same. If you are repairing any damage let the owner know about it and ask him to deduct the amount from the rent, or, if he wants to separately pay it, it may depend upon both of yours mutual decision.

A.Your owner is duty bound to repair the damages untill you are paying the rent but I he doesnt you do it on your own by just informing him and can deduct the same from the rent you pay him every month

A.Ask about it to owner then send legal notice. If not done then you can do it or reduce the amount from rent
