Hello sir, my father in law has purchased a property recently in Bangalore and after demolition of existing property started constructing a duplex house. As the construction is in swing the neighbour, a lady lawyer (criminal lawyer) started interfering in our issues and started taunting and threatening my father in law on various baseless issues, and also often threaten my father in law of getting a stay order for the construction process. as we learnt that she is the rudest lady or person in the street, people around are also ignoring the things happening with my father in law. Please suggest us what can be done.

why only your house have problem ?
obviously your father in law is not following all laws of construction because nobody does in India.
that does not mean it will work everytime.
all construction material will be n road blocking access.
there will be not proper coverage causing debris.
also, the noise might be creating issue in court hearings.
but if she really want stay order then she can get it easily.
if your father in law is not violating any rules then no need to worry.

If her interference is having adverse effects on your father in law you can always complaint to the police. If her claims are baseless, you do not have to worry otherwise.

If nothing illegal is happening and the construction is valid, then the lady cannot do anything about it. If it gets out of hand, you can always lodge a complaint at the nearest police station.
