Mother in law is threatning

Me and my husband are living in a seperate house that we have built on his share of ancestral land, my mother in law who lives next door is every other day accusing me of stealing her son, saying I dnt deserve to stay in this house ,accuses me of killing her daughter( who died in a car accident) etc. And also she threatens me that she'll send me to jail and then she will enter this house. What can i do

A.You can file domenstic violence case against your mother in law and asked for restraining order form the court against your mother in law and also give a written complaint to your local police station

She has no grounds to send you to jail and is making empty threats. Then only person you should care about in this situation is your husband, maybe he can convince her to stop harassing you. If you wish to take the legal route, you can file a case of cruelty by husband's relative under S.498-A of the Indian Penal Code or under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
